The Paleo Diet is exceedingly appealing: the focus is on natural, unprocessed foods, there’s an emphasis on fresh vegetables, it takes away the fear of fat, and it actually makes a lot of sense.
But the Paleo Lifestyle is really intimidating. It’s filled with people who are extreme Crossfit Athletes who wear those glove shoe things while lifting heavy things and talking about killing their own food.
That community is interesting, but it’s too hard core for most. I thought, well, there has to be a way to do all of this, but still live in a house with electricity and eat ice cream every once in a while.
So, Simplified Paleo was born.
